Abstract

The number of foreign tourist visits or foreign tourists to the Special Region of Yogyakarta through the Adi Sutjipto entrance in March 2019 increased by 10.30 percent compared to the number of visits in February 2019, from 9,631 visits to 10,623 visits. Meanwhile, when compared to March 2018, the number of foreign tourist visits in March 2019 decreased by 24.42 percent.

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in March 2019 amounted to 56.77 percent, an increase of 2.58 points compared to the previous month's TPK which was recorded at 54.19 percent. The TPK of non-star hotels was 29.94 percent, a decrease of 0.02 points compared to the TPK in February 2019.

The average length of stay of guests in star hotels in March 2019 reached 1.56 days and non-star hotels reached 1.43 days.

The number of passenger arrivals through Adi Sutjipto Airport Yogyakarta in March 2019 was recorded at 271,152 people, while the number of passenger departures in March 2019 was 269,002 passengers.
