Abstract

The number of foreign tourist visits or foreign tourists to D.I. Yogyakarta through the Adisutjipto entrance in September 2019 decreased by 11.88 percent compared to the number of visits in August 2019, from 12,091 visits to 10,655 visits. Meanwhile, when compared to September 2018, the number of foreign tourist visits in September 2019 decreased by 15.12 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in D.I. Yogyakarta in September 2019 was 51.60 percent, a decrease of 7.40 points compared to the previous month's TPK which was recorded at 59.00 percent. The TPK of non-star hotels was 28.34 percent, a decrease of 1.42 points compared to the TPK in August 2019.
The average length of stay of guests in star hotels in September 2019 reached 1.72 days and non-star hotels reached 1.28 days.
The number of passenger arrivals through Adisutjipto Airport and Yogyakarta International Airport in September 2019 was recorded at 291,386 people, while the number of passenger departures in September 2019 was 306,481 passengers.
