Abstract

In January 2020 the number of grain observations was 50 transactions, consisting of 23 observations (46.00 percent) of Milled Dry Grain (MDG), 16 observations (32.00 percent) of Harvested Dry Grain (HPG) and 11 observations (22.00 percent) of Low Quality Grain (LQG).
The average price of grain in January 2020 at the farm level increased by 4.01 percent from Rp. 4,807.14 in December 2019 to Rp. 5,000.00 per kg and at the milling level increased by 3.97 percent from Rp. 4,876.53 in December 2019 to Rp. 5,070.00 per kg.
The highest grain price at the farm level was Rp. 5,900.00 per kg for GKG quality grain with the Cianjur variety in Seyegan District, Sleman Regency. On the other hand, the lowest grain price at the farmer level was IDR 4,200 per kg for GKP quality grain with IR 64 variety and GKR quality grain with IR 64 variety in Bantul and Jetis sub-districts of Bantul district.
During January 2020, there were no observations of grain prices below the HPP, either at the farm level or at the milling level.
