Abstract

The export value of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in February 2020 reached US$35.7 million or decreased by 7.51 percent compared to exports in January 2020. Cumulatively, the export value from January to February 2020 reached US$74.3 million or increased by 8.47 percent compared to the same period in 2019.
The largest exports were sent to the United States, namely US$11.6 million. Followed by Germany at US$3.7 million and Japan at US$3.3 million. During January 2020, the contribution of the three reached 52.10 percent.
Non-Knitted Ready-to-Wear Apparel (62); Furniture, Home Lighting (94); and Knitted Goods (61) are the three commodity groups with the highest export values in February 2020, respectively at US$12.8 million; US$4.7 million; and US$3.4 million.
The import value of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in February 2020 reached US$11.7 million or increased by 28.57 percent compared to January 2020. Cumulatively, the import value from January to February 2020 reached US$20.8 million or increased by 49.64 percent compared to the same period in 2019.
The largest supplier countries of imported goods during February 2020 were the United States with a value of US$7.1 million, Papua New Guinea US$1.4 million, and Taiwan US$0.6 million.
Locomotives and Railway Equipment (86); Coffee, Tea, Spices (09); and Artificial Filaments (54) were the three commodity groups with the highest import values in February 2020, each at US$7.1 million; 1.4 million; and US$1.0 million.
