Abstract

The city of Yogyakarta in June 2020 experienced inflation of 0.08 percent due to the increase in the consumer price index of the food, beverage and tobacco group by 1.17 percent; clothing and footwear group of 0.05 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance by 0.05 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 0,19 percent; food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 0.07 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 0.20 percent. Whereas the group that experienced deflation was the health group by 0.04 percent; transportation group by 1.35 percent; and information, communication and financial services by 0.25 percent. The relatively stable groups are housing, water, electricity, gas and household fuels; and education groups.

90 cities whose inflation figures were calculated, 76 CPI cities experienced inflation and 14 cities CPI experienced deflation.

The calendar inflation rate (June 2020 to December 2019) was 0.79 percent and the year on year inflation rate (June 2020 to June 2019) was 1.95 percent.
