Abstract

Yogyakarta Special Region Farmer Terms of Trade (FTT) in June 2020, reaching 100.30 decreased by 0.52 percent compared to the index the previous month which recorded 100.82. FTT of Food Crop Subsector was recorded at 101.23; Horticultural Subsector FTT 103.69; FTT People's Plantation Plant Subsector 115,31; Livestock Subsector FTT 92.88; and Fisheries Subsector FTT 95.67.

The decline in the combined FTT index this month was due to a decrease in the food crops sub-sector by 1.59 percent, the people's plantation sub-sector by 3.84 percent. While three sub-sectors experienced an increase, namely: horticulture by 0.41 percent, livestock by 3.13 percent, and fisheries sub-sector by 1.02 percent. The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Enterprises (NTUP) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in June 2020 was 100.70 or decreased by 0.39 percent compared to May which was 101.09.

Rural Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in June 2020 in general reached 106.70 or experienced inflation of 0.21 percent compared to CPI in the previous month which was 106.48.

Of the 34 provinces whose FTT numbers were counted in June 2020, there were 13 provinces experiencing an increase, and 21 other provinces experiencing a decline. The highest increase in FTT occurred in Jambi by 2.63 percent, while the largest decline in FTT occurred in West Kalimantan by 2.33 percent.
