Abstract

NTP Special Region of Yogyakarta in August 2020, reached 101.01 decreased by 0.42 percent compared to the previous month's index of 101.44. NTP Subsector of Food Crops was recorded at 102.22; NTP Horticultural Subsector 106.86; NTP Subsector of People's Plantation Plant 113.39; NTP Subsector Farm 92.81; and NTP Subsector fisheries 96.21.

The decline in the combined NTP index this month was due to a 0.19 percent decline in the horticultural subsector, a subsector of people's plantation crops of 3.19 percent, a subsector of farms of 1.39 percent, and a subsector of fisheries of 0.98 percent, while the subsector of food crops increased by 0.33 percent. The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Business (NTUP) of Yogyakarta Special Region in August 2020 was 100.32, down by 0.71 percent compared to July of 101.04.

The rural Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Yogyakarta special region in August 2020 generally reached 105.30 or deflation by 0.37 percent compared to CPI in the previous month recorded 105.70.

Of the 34 provinces in August 2020 there were 25 provinces that increased, and 9 other provinces decreased. The highest NTP increase occurred in Bangka Belitung by 3.64 percent, while the largest NTP decrease occurred in Maluku by 1.21 percent.
