Abstract

Yogyakarta in September 2020 experienced inflation of 0.03 percent due to a 0.06 percent increase in the consumer price index of household supplies, appliances and routine maintenance; health group by 0.03 percent; transportation group by 0.30 percent; and other personal care and services groups by 0.71 percent. Meanwhile, the deflationary group of food, drink and tobacco was 0.24 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.23 percent. The relatively stable group is housing, water, electricity, and household fuel; information groups, communications and financial services; recreational, sports and cultural groups; education groups; and food and beverage/restaurant supply groups.
  • 90 cities calculated inflation figures, 34 CPI cities experienced inflation and 56 CPI cities experienced deflation.
  • Calendar Inflation Rate (September 2020 to December 2019) was 0.71 percent and year on year inflation (September 2020 to September 2019) at 1.66 percent.
