Abstract

The export value of the D.I. Yogyakarta in October 2020 reached US$41.7 million, an increase of 18.47 percent compared to exports in September 2020. Cumulatively, the export value from January to October 2020 reached US$319.0 million, down 4.43 percent compared to the same period in 2019.
The largest exports in October 2020 were sent to the United States, namely US$17.9 million. Followed by Germany US$4.2 million and Australia US$2.7 million. As of October 2020, the contribution of the three countries reached 52.26 percent.
Non-knitted Apparel (62); Knitted Goods (61); and Furniture, Home Lighting (94) were the three commodity groups with the highest export value in October 2020 at US$11.0 million, US$5.9 million, and US$5.8 million, respectively.
The import value of D.I. Yogyakarta in October 2020 reached US$8.7 million or increased by 35.94 percent compared to September 2020. Cumulatively, the import value from January to October 2020 reached US$94.7 million, up 26.94 percent compared to the same period in 2019.
The largest supplier of imported goods during October 2020 was China with a value of US$3.4 million. Then followed by Hong Kong US$2.0 million; and South Korea US$1.2 million.
Artificial Filament (54); Knitted Fabric (60); and Cotton Wadding, Rope (56) were the top three import commodity groups in October 2020 amounting to US$1.4 million; US$1.0 million; and US$0.9 million respectively.
