Abstract

The NTP of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in April 2021, reached 96.73, a decrease of 0.33 percent compared to the previous month's index which was recorded at 97.05. The NTP of the Food Crops Subsector was recorded at 93.38; Horticulture Sub-sector NTP 112.79; NTP People's Plantation Plant Subsector 112.62; NTP Livestock Subsector 94.58; and NTP Fisheries Subsector 94.14.

The decline in the combined FTT index this month was due to a decrease in the food crops sub-sector by 0.73 percent, and the horticulture sub-sector by 3.58 percent, while 3 sub-sectors experienced an increase, namely: the people's plantation sub-sector by 1.86 percent, the livestock sub-sector by 1. .40 percent, and the fisheries sub-sector by 0.02 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in April 2021 was 96.88, down 0.48 compared to March of 97.35.

The rural Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in April 2021 generally reached 108.49 experiencing inflation of 0.20 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 108.27.

Of the 34 provinces in April 2021, 21 provinces experienced an increase, and 13 other provinces experienced a decrease. The highest increase in NTP occurred in Bangka Belitung by 2.15 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Riau by 2.26 percent.
