Abstract

The export value of D.I. Yogyakarta in December 2021 reached US$64.0 million or increased by 14.90 percent compared to exports in November 2021. Compared to December 2020, the export value increased by 40.66 percent.

Cumulatively, the export value of D.I. Yogyakarta from January to December 2021 reached US$557.0 million, an increase of 39.70 percent compared to the same period in 2020.

The largest export in December 2021 was to the United States with US$25.7 million, followed by Japan with US$6.9 million and Japan with US$5.8 million, with the contribution of the three reaching 60.00 percent. Meanwhile, exports to the European Union and ASEAN amounted to US$16.7 million and US$1.1 million respectively.

The largest increase in exports in December 2021 against November 2021 occurred in non-knitted apparel amounting to US$7.9 million (41.58 percent). Meanwhile, the largest decrease occurred in leather goods amounting to US$1.7 million (27.42 percent).

By sector, exports of processing industry products from January to December 2021 increased by 39.95 percent compared to the same period in 2020. Meanwhile, exports of agricultural products increased by 13.51 percent.

According to the shipping province, the largest exports of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in December 2021 were sent through Central Java with a value of US$39.7 million (62.03 percent), followed by DKI Jakarta US$23.3 million (36.41 percent) and East Java US$1.0 million (1.56 percent).
