Abstract

Yogyakarta City in March 2022 experienced inflation of 0.77 percent due to an increase in the consumer price index of the food group by 1.39 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.35 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.37 percent; equipment, equipment and routine household maintenance group by 0.75 percent; health group by 0.01 percent; transportation group by 0.96 percent; information, communication and financial services group by 0.02 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 0.07 percent; food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 0.87 percent; and personal care and other services group by 1.49 percent. Meanwhile, the education group was relatively stable.
90 cities that calculated the inflation rate, 88 CPI cities experienced inflation and 2 CPI cities experienced deflation.
The calendar inflation rate (March 2022 against December 2021) was 1.41 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (March 2022 against March 2021) was 2.95 percent.
