Development of Grain Producer Price D.I. Yogyakarta April 2022

Abstract

The producer price of grain at the farm level in the D.I. Yogyakarta in April 2022 amounted to Rp. 4393.88, down 2.50 percent compared to the previous month of Rp. 4,506.36. At the milling level, it also decreased by 2.51 percent, from Rp. 4,579.09 to Rp. 4,464.29 per kg in April 2022.
In April 2022, the number of grain observations was 98 objects, consisting of 42 (42.86 percent) of Milled Dry Grain (MDG), 21 (21.43 percent) of Harvested Dry Grain (PKP) and 35 (35.71 percent) of Out of Quality Grain.
The highest grain price at the farm level was Rp. 5,000 per kg for GKG and GKP quality grain with the Ciherang variety in Kabupaten Kulon Progo, and GKG quality grain with the Sunggal variety in Kabupaten Sleman. In contrast, the lowest grain price at the farm level was Rp. 3,700 per kg for GKP quality grain with Ciherang and Inpari varieties, which occurred in Pengasih Sub-district, Kulon Progo District.
Grain by variety produced and sold by farmers in April 2022, IR64 varieties were 50.00 percent, Ciherang 31.63 percent, Inpari 8.16 percent, and other varieties were 10.21 percent.
In April 2022, the price of grain at the milling level that was below the HPP was 51.02 percent in both GKG and GKP quality grain.
