Development of Grain Producer Prices in December 2022

Abstract

The producer price of grain at the farm level in Yogyakarta Special Region in December 2022 amounted to Rp 5,434.62, up 0.98 percent compared to the previous month of Rp 5,382.00. At the milling level, it also increased by 0.93 percent, from Rp 5,452.00 to Rp 5,502.56 per kg in December 2022.

The highest grain price at the farm level for GKG quality grain is Rp. 6,500 per kg with the Mentik Wangi variety in Sleman District. While GKP quality grain is worth IDR 5,400 per kg with the IR64 variety found in Bantul Regency. On the other hand, the lowest grain price at the farmer level is Rp. 5,000 per kg for GKP quality grain and outside the quality with Ciherang, Inpari, Situ Bagendit, IR64 and Suppadi varieties found in Kulon Progo and Bantul districts.

Grain by variety produced and sold by farmers in December 2022, the IR 64 variety accounted for 43.59 percent, Ciherang for 35.90 percent, Inpari for 6.41 percent, Mekongga for 5.13, Mentik Wangi and Suppadi for 2.56 percent each, and other varieties for a total of 3.85 percent.

In December 2022, out of 78 observations in 3 districts, namely Kulon Progo, Bantul and Sleman districts, there were no grain prices below the HPP.
