Abstract

The percentage of poor people in September 2022 was 11.49 percent, a decrease of 0.42 percentage points compared to September 2021, but an increase of 0.15 percentage points compared to March 2022.

The number of poor people in September 2022 was 463.63 thousand people and increased by 8.9 thousand people compared to March 2022. When compared to September 2021, the number of poor people in September 2022 decreased by 10.9 thousand people.

The percentage of the urban poor population in September 2022 was 10.64 percent and increased by 0.08 percentage points compared to March 2022. The rural poor population in September 2022 amounted to 14.00 percent and increased by 0.35 percentage points compared to March 2022.

The number of poor people in urban areas in September 2022 was 321.07 thousand people, an increase of 5.6 thousand people compared to March 2022. Meanwhile, the number of poor people in rural areas in September 2022 was 142.57 thousand people, an increase of 3.3 thousand people compared to March 2022.

The Poverty Line in September 2022 was recorded at Rp551,342.00/capita/month with a composition of the Food Poverty Line of Rp398,363.00 (72.25 percent) and the Non-Food Poverty Line of Rp152,979.00 (27.75 percent).

In September 2022, on average, poor households in D.I. Yogyakarta had 4.20 household members. When viewed on a household basis, the household poverty line reached Rp2,315,636.00/household/month.
