Abstract

The producer price of unhusked rice at the farm level in Yogyakarta Special Region in February 2023 amounted to Rp 5,714.00, up 2.37 percent compared to the previous month of Rp 5,581.82. At the milling level, it also increased by 2.37 percent, from Rp 5,650.00 to Rp 5,784.00 per kg in February 2023.

The highest grain price at the farm level for GKG quality grain is IDR 6,600 per kg with the Mentik Wangi variety in Sleman Regency. While GKP quality grain is worth IDR 6,500 per kg with the Ciherang variety in Kulon Progo Regency. The lowest grain price at the farmer level is IDR 4,600 per kg for GKP quality grain with Ciherang and IR-64 varieties in Kulon Progo Regency.

Grain by variety produced and sold by farmers in February 2023, the IR-64 variety accounted for 42.00 percent, Inpari for 20.00 percent, Ciherang for 18.00 percent, IR-32, Mekongga, and Mentik Wangi for 6.00 percent each, and Situ Bagendit for 2.00 percent.

In February 2023, out of 50 observations in 3 districts, namely Kulon Progo, Bantul and Sleman, there were no grain prices below the HPP.
