Abstract

The producer price of unhusked rice at the farm level in Yogyakarta Special Region in April 2023 amounted to Rp 5,355.00, up 8.22 percent compared to the previous month of Rp 4,948.13. At the milling level, it also increased by 8.30 percent, from IDR 5,013.75 to IDR 5,430.00 per kg in April 2023.

The highest grain price at the farm level for GKG quality grain was IDR 6,000 per kg with Mekongga and Sunggal varieties in Sleman District. While GKP quality grain is worth IDR 5,000 per kg with the Inpari variety in the Kulon Progo Regency. The lowest grain price at the farmer level is IDR 4,700 per kg for GKP quality grain with the IR-64 variety in Bantul Regency.

Grain by variety produced and sold by farmers in April 2023, the IR-64 variety amounted to 47.14 percent, Inpari and Ciherang with the same percentage of 15.71 percent, Situ Bagendit at 7.14 percent, Mekongga and Sunggal each at 5.72 percent, and other varieties at 2.86 percent.

From 70 observations in April 2023 conducted in 3 districts, namely Kulon Progo, Bantul and Sleman, based on the National Food Agency Regulation No. 6 of 2023 concerning the Government Purchase Price (HPP), the price of grain sold by farmers was 97.14 percent below the HPP.
