Abstract

The Farmer Term of Trade (NTP) in July 2023 amounted to 102.37, down 0.42 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 102.80.

The NTP of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta in July 2023, reached 102.37

down 0.42 percent compared to the previous month which was 102.80. The NTP of food crops subsector was 99.00; horticulture subsector 122.26; smallholder plantation crops subsector 103.86; livestock subsector 103.90; and fisheries subsector 91.29.

The decline in the combined NTP index this month was influenced by the decline in four subsectors, namely: food crops by 0.02 percent, horticulture 3.88 percent, smallholder plantation crops 0.73 percent, and fisheries 0.14 percent. Meanwhile, the livestock subsector increased by 0.30 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Term of Trade (NTUP) of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta in July 2023 was recorded at 104.94, down 0.42 percent compared to the previous month of 105.39.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for rural areas in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta in July 2023 generally reached 121.78, an inflation of 0.11 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 121.65.

Of the 34 provinces in July 2023, 19 provinces increased, 1 province remained, and 14 provinces decreased. The highest increase in NTP occurred in West Sulawesi by 2.27 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in North Maluku by 2.13 percent.
