The producer price of grain at the farm level in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta in July 2023 for the quality of Milled Dry Grain (MDG) amounted to IDR 5,640.74, down 1.35 percent compared to the previous month of IDR 5,718.18. The quality of harvested dry grain (GKP) decreased by 1.02 percent, from IDR 4,867.74, to IDR 4,817.95 in July 2023. Meanwhile, the price for non-quality grain in July increased by 4.42 percent, from Rp 4,650.00 to Rp 4,855.56 in July 2023.The highest price at the farmer level for GKG quality grain at IDR 6,000 per kg with Mentik Wangi and Rojolele varieties is found in Sleman Regency. The highest farm-gate price for GKP quality grain at IDR 5,000 per kg with the varieties Ciherang, Inpari, and IR-64 is found in Bantul and Kulon Progo districts. The lowest grain price at the farmer level is IDR 4,500 per kg for GKP quality grain with IR-64 and Inpari varieties in Bantul Regency.During July 2023, the average price of GKG at the farm level was IDR 5,640.74 per kg, down 1.35 percent, and at the milling level IDR 5,729.63 per kg, down 1.33 percent. The average price of GKP at the farm level is IDR 4,817.95 per kg, down 1.02 percent, and at the milling level IDR 4,873.08 per kg, down 1.17 percent compared to the price of the same quality grain in the previous month. Meanwhile, the average price of quality unhusked grain at the farm level is IDR 4,855.56 per kg, an increase of 4.42 percent. The price of quality unhusked grain at the milling level is IDR 4,905.56 per kg, an increase of 4.37 percent.Grain by variety produced and sold by farmers in July 2023, IR-64 varieties accounted for 46.67 percent, Inpari for 21.33 percent, Ciherang for 17.33 percent, Situ Bagendit for 9.34 percent, Mentik Wangi for 2.67 percent, Cianjur and Rojolele for 1.33 percent each.
