Abstract

Exports in July 2023 reached US$37.4 million, down 9.22 percent compared to the previous month.
  • Imports in July 2023 were valued at US$9.2 million, up 10.84 percent.
  • The export value of Yogyakarta Special Region in July 2023 reached US$37.4 million, down 9.22 percent compared to June 2023. Compared to July 2022, the export value decreased by 20.93 percent.
  • Cumulatively, the export value of Yogyakarta Special Region from January to July 2023 reached US$270.0 million or decreased by 23.86 percent compared to the same period in 2022.
  • The largest export in July 2023 was to the United States at US$15.7 million, followed by Germany at US$3.0 million and Japan at US$2.9 million. The contribution of the three reached 57.75 percent. Meanwhile, exports to the European Union amounted to US$8.3 million and ASEAN amounted to US$0.6 million.
  • The largest decline in exports in July 2023 against June 2023 occurred in non-knitted apparel amounting to US$4.9 million. Meanwhile, the largest increase was in knitted goods amounting to US$1.2 million.
  • By sector, exports of agricultural products in July 2023 increased by 100.00 percent compared to June 2023. In contrast, exports of processing industry products fell by 9.49 percent. Compared to July 2022, exports of agricultural products fell 33.33 percent. Meanwhile, exports of processing industry products fell by 20.85 percent.
  • According to the province of the port of loading, the largest exports of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in July 2023 were sent through Central Java by 72.47 percent, followed by DKI Jakarta 25.40 percent, D.I. Yogyakarta 1.07 percent, and East Java 0.80 percent.
