Abstract

October 2023, Yogyakarta year on year (y-o-y) inflation will be 3.44 percent.

In October 2023 there will be year on year (y-on-y) inflation of 3.44 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 118.39.
Inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 6.97 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.33 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 1.66 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 1.19 percent; health group at 5.86 percent; transportation group by 2.45 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 1.55 percent; education group at 3.03 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 4.09 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 3.61 percent. Meanwhile, the group that experienced a decline in the index was the information, communication and financial services group by -0.08 percent.
The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate in October 2023 is 0.25 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate in October 2023 is 2.44 percent.
