Abstract

November 2023, Yogyakarta's year on year (y-o-y) inflation amounted to 3.48 percent.

In November 2023 there was year on year (y-on-y) inflation of 3.48 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 118.81.

Inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 7.83 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.27 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 1.40 percent; household supplies, equipment and routine maintenance group by 1.10 percent; health group by 3.62 percent; transportation group by 1.99 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 1.43 percent; education group by 3.06 percent; food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 4.23 percent; and personal care and other services group by 3.49 percent. While the group that experienced a decrease in the index was the information, communication, and financial services group by -0.13 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate in November 2023 was 0.35 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate in November 2023 was 2.80 percent.
