Abstract

  • The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of D.I. Yogyakarta in February 2024 was 110.66, up 3.63 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 106.78.
  • The producer price of paddy at the farmer level in D.I. Yogyakarta in February 2024 for the quality of Dry Milled Paddy (GKG) was IDR 8,423.81 per kg, up 9.16 percent compared to the previous month of IDR 7,716.67 per kg. The quality of Harvested Dry Paddy (GKP) increased by 12.24 percent, from IDR 6,476.00 per kg to 7,268.97 per kg in February 2024.
  • The NTP of D.I. Yogyakarta in February 2024 reached 110.66, up 3.63 percent compared to the previous month of 106.78. The Farmer Exchange Rate for the food crop sub-sector was 114.54; horticulture subsector 128.50; smallholder plantation subsector 105.02; livestock subsector 98.25; and fisheries subsector 89.30.
  • The increase in the combined NTP index this month was influenced by the increase in four subsectors, namely: food crops by 4.82 percent, horticulture by 4.33 percent, smallholder plantation crops by 0.69 percent, and livestock by 1.35 percent. Meanwhile, one subsector fell, namely fisheries by 0.40 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of D.I. Yogyakarta in February 2024 was recorded at 113.93, up 3.86 percent compared to the previous month of 109.69.
  • The rural Consumer Price Index (CPI) in D.I. Yogyakarta in February 2024 generally reached 125.58, experiencing inflation of 1.17 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 124.13.
  • Of the 38 provinces in February 2024, the NTP in 28 provinces increased while 10 provinces decreased. The highest increase in NTP occurred in West Sulawesi at 4.34 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Maluku at 1.73 percent.
  • The highest price of grain at the farmer level for GKG quality grain worth IDR 8,900 per kg with the Ciherang and Situ Bagendit varieties is in Sleman Regency. The highest price at the farmer level for GKP quality grain worth IDR 7,400 per kg with the Ciherang, IR-64, Mapan and Supadi varieties is in Bantul and Kulon Progo Regencies. The lowest price of grain at the farmer level worth IDR 6,900 per kg for GKP quality grain with the IR-64 variety is in Sleman Regency.
  • During February 2024, the average price of GKG at the farmer level was IDR 8,423.81 per kg, up 9.16 percent, and at the milling level IDR 8,516.67 per kg, up 9.07 percent. The average price of GKP at the farmer level was IDR 7,268.97 per kg, up 12.24 percent, and at the milling level IDR 7,322.41 per kg, up 12.20 percent compared to the price of the same quality of grain in the previous month. Paddy based on varieties produced and sold by farmers in February 2024, IR-64 variety at 26.00 percent, Inpari at 22.00 percent, Ciherang and Situ Bagendit at 12.00 percent, Suppadi at 10.00 percent, Mapan at 8.00 percent, Cilamaya, Mekongga, Memberamo, Rojo Lele, and Sunggal each at 2.00 percent.
