Abstract

In February 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Gunungkidul Regency was 2.69 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.25.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 8.24 percent; personal care and other services group at 2.13 percent; health group by 1.23 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 1.03 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.45 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 0.27 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 0.13 percent; and the education group was 0.07 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decline in the index were: transportation group by 0.25 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.11 percent; and the information, communication and financial services group at 0.03 percent.
The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate for Gunungkidul Regency in February 2024 was 0.43 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Gunungkidul Regency in February 2024 was 0.35 percent.
