Abstract

In March 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Gunungkidul Regency of 3.05 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.56.
The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 9.19 percent; the personal care and other services group by 2.94 percent; the health group by 1.25 percent; the household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 1.03 percent; the recreation, sports and culture group by 0.48 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 0.45 percent; the food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 0.27 percent; and the education group by 0.07 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in index were: the transportation group by 0.14 percent; the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.12 percent; and the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.03 percent.
The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate of Gunungkidul Regency in March 2024 was 0.29 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate of Gunungkidul Regency in March 2024 was 0.65 percent.
