Abstract

The number of foreign tourist visits or foreign tourists to the Special Region of Yogyakarta through the Adi Sutjipto entrance in January 2019 decreased by 25.74 percent compared to the number of visits in December 2018, from 10,813 visits to 8,030 visits. Meanwhile, when compared to January 2018, the number of foreign tourist visits in January 2019 decreased by 25.36 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in January 2019 reached an average of 48.16 percent or decreased by 4.78 points compared to the January 2018 TPK which was recorded at 52.94 percent. Meanwhile, when compared to the TPK in December 2018, the TPK of star hotels in January 2019 decreased by 21.99 points.
The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests in star hotels during January 2019 was recorded at 1.44 days, a decrease of 0.12 points compared to December 2018.
