Abstract

The number of foreign tourist visits to the D.I. Yogyakarta through the Adi Sutjipto entrance in May 2019 decreased by 32.99 percent compared to the number of visits in April 2019, from 9,980 visits to 6,688 visits. Meanwhile, when compared to May 2018, the number of foreign tourist visits in May 2019 decreased by 30.22 percent.
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in D.I. Yogyakarta in May 2019 amounted to 34.69 percent, a decrease of 28.06 points compared to the previous month's TPK which was recorded at 62.75 percent. The TPK of non-star hotels was 19.68 percent, a decrease of 11.04 points compared to the TPK in April 2019.
The average length of stay of guests in star hotels in May 2019 reached 1.69 days and non-star hotels reached 1.48 days.
