Abstract

The NTP of D.I. Yogyakarta in July 2019 reached 105.64, an increase of 1.10 percent compared to the previous month's index of 104.49. The NTP of Food Crops Subsector was recorded at 107.97; the NTP of Horticulture Subsector was 104.86; the NTP of Smallholder Plantation Crops Subsector was 123.29; the NTP of Livestock Subsector was 93.25; and the NTP of Fisheries Subsector was 104.13.
The increase in the combined NTP index this month was due to the increase in the horticulture subsector by 0.83 percent, smallholder plantation crops by 2.62 percent, livestock subsector by 1.74 percent, and fisheries subsector by 1.10 percent. Meanwhile, the food crop subsector decreased by 0.24 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of D.I. Yogyakarta in July 2019 amounted to 116.25 percent or increased by 1.53 percent compared to June of 114.49.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for rural areas in D.I. Yogyakarta in July 2019 generally reached 141.86 or experienced inflation of 0.81 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 140.73. - Of the 33 provinces whose NTP figures were calculated in July 2019, 25 provinces experienced an increase, and 8 other provinces experienced a decrease. The highest increase in NTP occurred in Gorontalo by 1.90 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in South Sumatra by 0.96 percent.
