Abstract

The NTP of D.I. Yogyakarta in October 2019 reached 107.69, an increase of 0.41 percent compared to the previous month's index of 107.25. The NTP of Food Crops Subsector was recorded at 111.89; the NTP of Horticulture Subsector was 108.10; the NTP of People's Plantation Crops Subsector was 127.85; the NTP of Livestock Subsector was 91.04; and the NTP of Fisheries Subsector was 104.13.

The increase in the combined NTP index this month was due to the increase in the food crop subsector by 0.38 percent, the horticulture subsector by 0.59 percent, and the smallholder plantation crop subsector by 1.66 percent. While two subsectors experienced a decrease, namely the livestock subsector by 0.70 percent, and the fisheries subsector by 0.09 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of D.I. Yogyakarta in October 2019 amounted to 117.12 percent or increased by 0.27 percent compared to September at 116.81.

Of the 33 provinces whose NTP figures were calculated in October 2019, 21 provinces experienced an increase, and 12 other provinces experienced a decrease. The highest increase in NTP occurred in NAD by 1.22 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Gorontalo by 1.70 percent.

The rural Consumer Price Index (CPI) in D.I. Yogyakarta in October 2019 generally reached 140.33 or experienced deflation of 0.03 percent.
