Abstract

The NTP of D.I. Yogyakarta in November 2019 reached 107.18, a decrease of 0.47 percent compared to the previous month's index of 107.69. The NTP of Food Crops Subsector was recorded at 111.40; the NTP of Horticulture Subsector was 105.91; the NTP of People's Plantation Crops Subsector was 128.48; the NTP of Livestock Subsector was 91.29; and the NTP of Fisheries Subsector was 103.25.

The decline in the combined NTP index this month was caused by a decrease in the food crop subsector by 0.45 percent, the horticulture subsector by 2.03 percent, and the fisheries subsector by 0.85 percent. While two subsectors experienced an increase, namely the smallholder plantation crop subsector by 0.49 percent, and the livestock subsector by 0.28 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of D.I. Yogyakarta in November 2019 amounted to 117.02 percent or decreased by 0.09 percent compared to October at 117.12.

Of the 33 provinces whose NTP figures were calculated in November 2019, 18 provinces experienced an increase, and 15 other provinces experienced a decrease. The highest increase in NTP occurred in Riau by 2.34 percent, while the largest decrease occurred in Bangka Belitung by 3.07 percent.

The rural Consumer Price Index (CPI) in D.I. Yogyakarta in November 2019 generally reached 141.48 or experienced inflation of 0.81 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 140.33.
