Abstract

The export value of D.I. Yogyakarta in November 2019 reached US$33.3 million, down 11.90 percent compared to the previous month. Cumulatively, the export value from January to November 2019 reached US$367.1 million or decreased by 5.14 percent compared to the same period in 2018.
During the January-November 2019 period, the United States, Germany, and Japan became the largest export market share, reaching 57.96 percent.
Non-knitted Apparel (62); Furniture, Home Lighting (94); and Knitted Goods (61) were the three commodity groups with the highest export value in November 2019 at US$11.3 million; US$4.7 million; and US$3.3 million, respectively.
The largest increase in exports in November 2019 against October 2019 occurred in Non-Knitted Apparel (62) amounting to US$0.4 million or 3.67 percent.
The import value of D.I. Yogyakarta in November 2019 reached US$9.8 million, up 12.64 percent compared to the previous month. Cumulatively, the import value from January to November 2019 reached US$84.4 million or decreased by 6.53 percent compared to the same period in 2018.
During the January-November 2019 period, China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan became the largest supplier countries of imports reaching 70.02 percent.
Artificial Filament (54); Cotton (52); and Knitted Fabric (60) were the three commodity groups with the highest import value in the January-November 2019 period at US$18.8 million; US$9.0 million; and US$7.4 million, respectively.
