Abstract

In February 2020, the number of grain observations was 50 transactions, consisting of 27 observations of Milled Dry Grain (GKG) (54.00 percent), 12 observations of Harvested Dry Grain (GKP) (24.00 percent) and 11 observations of Out-of-Quality Grain (22.00 percent).

The average price of grain in February 2020 at the farmer level fell 1.32 percent from Rp. 5,000.00 in January 2020 to Rp. 4,934.00 per kg and at the milling level fell 1.30 percent from Rp. 5,070.00 in January 2020 to Rp. 5,004.00 per kg.

The highest price of grain at the farmer level of Rp. 5,900.00 per kg for GKG quality grain with the Ciherang variety occurred in Nanggulan District, Kulon Progo Regency. On the other hand, the lowest price of paddy at the farmer level was IDR 4,200.00 per kg for non-quality paddy with IR 64 variety in Jetis District, Bantul Regency. During February 2020, there were no observations of paddy prices below HPP, either at the farmer level or at the milling level.
