Abstract

The export value of D.I. Yogyakarta in January 2020 reached US$38.6 million, up 4.61 percent compared to exports in December 2019. Likewise, compared to January 2019, it increased by 6.04 percent.

The largest exports were sent to the United States, namely US$13.6 million. Followed by Germany at US$4.7 million and Japan at US$4.0 million. The contribution of the three reached 57.77 percent.

Non-Knitted Ready-to-Wear Apparel (62); Furniture, Home Lighting (94); and Knitted Goods (61) are the three commodity groups with the highest export values in January 2020, respectively at US$12.9 million; US$5.5 million; and US$3.7 million.

The largest increase in exports in January 2020 compared to December 2019 occurred in Straw / Woven Materials (46) at US$1.4 million or 93.33 percent.

The import value of D.I. Yogyakarta January 2020 reached US$9.1 million, down 17.27 percent compared to December 2019. On the other hand, compared to January 2019, it increased by 2.25 percent.

The largest import supplier countries during January 2020 were China with a value of US$3.3 million, Hong Kong US$2.9 million, and Timor Leste US$0.7 million, with the contribution of the three reaching 75.82 percent.

Artificial Filaments (54); Artificial Staffel Fibers (55); and Special Woven Fabrics (58) are the three commodity groups with the highest import values in the January 2020 period, each amounting to US$2.0 million; US$0.9 million; and US$0.9 million.
