Abstract

Yogyakarta City in July 2020 experienced a deflation of 0.08 percent due to the decrease in the consumer price index of the food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.79 percent; transportation group by 0.01 percent; recreation, sports and culture group of 0.08 percent. While the groups that experienced inflation were clothing and footwear by 0.32 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuels by 0.01 percent; household appliances, equipment and routine maintenance by 0.16 percent; health group of 0.32 percent; information, communication and financial services group of 0.03 percent; the food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 0,30 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 0.52 percent. The relatively stable group is the education group.
90 cities whose inflation figures were calculated, 29 CPI cities experienced inflation and 61 cities CPI experienced deflation.
Calendar inflation rate (July 2020 to December 2019) of 0.72 percent and year on year inflation rate (July 2020) to July 2019) of 1.83 percent
