Abstract

Yogyakarta City in June 2021 experienced inflation of 0.05 percent due to an increase in the consumer price index of the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.13 percent; household supplies, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.06 percent; health group by 0.32 percent; transportation group by 0.36 percent; information, communication and financial services group by 0.11 percent; food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 0.03 percent; and personal care and other services group by 0.62 percent. Groups that experienced deflation were the food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.32 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 0.15 percent; and the recreation, sports and culture group by 0.07 percent. The relatively stable group is the education group.
90 cities calculated inflation figures, 34 CPI cities experienced inflation and 56 CPI cities experienced deflation.
The calendar inflation rate (June 2021 against December 2020) was 0.89 percent and the year on year inflation rate (June 2021 against June 2020) was 1.50 percent.
