Abstract

Daerah Istimewa (D.I.) Yogyakarta is recorded at 80.67. This figure shows a decrease of 0.15 points compared to the IDI number in 2018 which amount reached 80.82.
When compared to the conditions in 2018, there is one aspect that has decreased, namely the Political Rights Aspect. The aspect of Civil Liberties and the Aspects of Democratic Institutions showed an increase compared to the conditions of the previous year.
The Political Rights aspect dropped to 72.51. The aspect of Civil Liberties increased to 92.90 and the Aspects of Democratic Institutions increased to 78.25.
In calculating the 2019 IDI numbers, there are three variables that indicate an impairment. The three variables are: Variable Freedom of Opinion, Freedom from Discrimination, and Political Participation in Decision Making and Supervision
