Abstract

Yogyakarta in October 2020 experienced inflation of 0.08 percent due to a 0.16 percent increase in the consumer price index of clothing and footwear groups; housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups by 0.15 percent; household routine equipment, equipment and maintenance group of 0.19 percent; health group by 0.59 percent; transportation group by 0.57 percent; information, communication and financial services groups by 0.09 percent; recreation, sports and cultural groups by 0.48 percent; education group of 1.92 percent; food and beverage/restaurant supply group of 0.46 percent; and other personal care and services groups by 0.59 percent. Meanwhile, the deflationary group of food, drink and tobacco amounted to 1.35 percent.
90 cities calculated inflation figures, 66 CPI cities experienced inflation and 24 CPI cities experienced deflation.
Calendar Inflation Rate (October 2020 to December 2019) was 0.78 percent and year on year inflation (October 2020 to October 2019) at 1.51 percent.
