Abstract

NTP Special Region of Yogyakarta in October 2020, reached 100.71 increased by 0.37 percent compared to the previous month's index of 100.33. NTP Subsector of Food Crops was recorded at 101.36; NTP Horticultural Subsector 106.19; NTP Subsector of People's Plantation Plant 115.80; NTP Subsector Farm 92.92; and NTP Subsector fisheries 98.57.

The increase in the combined NTP index this month was due to a 2.98 percent increase in the subsector of people's plantation crops, a 1.80 percent subsector of farms, and a subsector of fisheries of 0.97 percent, while the subsector of food crops decreased by 0.46 percent, and the horticultural subsector also decreased by 0.06 percent. The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Business (NTUP) of Yogyakarta Special Region in October 2020 was 100.21, an increase of 0.90 percent compared to September of 99.32.

The rural Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Yogyakarta Special Region in October 2020 generally reached 105.78 or experienced inflation of 0.78 percent compared to CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 104.97.

Of the 34 provinces in October 2020 there were 25 provinces that increased, and 9 other provinces decreased. The highest NTP increase occurred in Bangka Belitung by 2.49 percent, while the largest NTP decrease occurred in Banten by 1.13 percent.
