Abstract

The NTP of D.I. Yogyakarta in December 2021 reached 98.07, an index increase of 0.73 percent compared to the previous month of 97.36. The NTP of the food crop subsector was 94.02; the horticulture subsector was 122.07; the smallholder plantation crop subsector was 117.41; the livestock subsector was 93.99; and the fisheries subsector was 92.83.
The increase in the combined NTP index this month was due to the increase in three subsectors, namely: food crops by 0.03 percent, horticulture by 7.74 percent, and livestock by 0.97 percent. While the other two subsectors decreased, namely: smallholder plantation crops by 3.28 percent, and fisheries by 0.53 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of D.I. Yogyakarta in December 2021 was recorded at 98.93, an increase of 2.04 percent compared to the previous month of 96.95.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for rural areas in D.I. Yogyakarta in December 2021 generally reached 111.08, experiencing inflation of 2.08 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 108.82.
From 34 provinces in December 2021, 29 provinces experienced an increase, and 5 provinces experienced a decrease. The highest increase in NTP occurred in East Kalimantan by 2.59 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in DKI Jakarta by 0.70 percent.
