Abstract

The Farmer Terms of Trade (NTP) in April 2022 amounted to 98.14, an index decrease of 1.52 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 99.65.

The NTP of D.I. Yogyakarta in April 2022, reached 98.14, experiencing a decrease in the index of 1.52 percent compared to the previous month of 99.65. The NTP of food crops subsector was 94.23; horticulture subsector 113.32; smallholder plantation crops subsector 116.10; livestock subsector 97.39; and fisheries subsector 92.71.
The decline in the combined NTP index this month was caused by the decline in four subsectors, namely: food crops 2.21 percent, horticulture 4.46 percent, smallholder plantation crops 2.38 percent and fisheries 0.10 percent. While the livestock subsector increased by 1.68 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of DI Yogyakarta in April 2022 was recorded at 98.80, a decrease of 1.52 percent compared to the previous month of 100.32.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for rural areas in D.I. Yogyakarta in April 2022 generally reached 114.19, an inflation of 1.73 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 112.25.
Of the 34 provinces in April 2022, 14 provinces experienced an increase, and 20 provinces experienced a decrease. The highest increase in NTP occurred in West Kalimantan by 1.44 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in South Kalimantan by 2.21 percent.
