Abstract

The Farmer Terms of Trade (NTP) in July 2022 amounted to 96.90, an index decrease of 0.21 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 97.11.

The NTP of D.I. Yogyakarta in July 2022, reached 96.90, experiencing a decrease in the index of 0.21 percent compared to the previous month of 97.11. The NTP of food crops subsector was 88.03; horticulture subsector 141.50; smallholder plantation crops subsector 109.18; livestock subsector 99.08; and fisheries subsector 91.98.
The decline in the combined NTP index this month was caused by the decline in three subsectors, namely: food crops 1.83 percent, smallholder plantation crops 0.26 percent and fisheries 0.07 percent. While two subsectors experienced an increase, namely: horticulture by 5.54 percent, and livestock 0.52 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of D.I. Yogyakarta in July 2022 was recorded at 98.98, a decrease of 0.09 percent compared to the previous month of 99.07.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for rural areas in D.I. Yogyakarta in July 2022 generally reached 117.58, experiencing inflation of 0.34 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 117.18.
Of the 34 provinces in July 2022, 9 provinces experienced an increase, and 25 provinces experienced a decrease. The highest increase in NTP occurred in Riau Islands by 1.70 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Riau by 11.43 percent.
