Abstract

The Farmer Terms of Trade (NTP) in September 2022 amounted to 98.06, an index decrease of 0.07 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 98.12.
The NTP of D.I. Yogyakarta in September 2022, reached 98.06, experiencing a decrease in the index of 0.07 percent compared to the previous month of 98.12. The NTP of food crops subsector was 92.94; horticulture subsector was 130.63; smallholder plantation crops subsector was 102.90; livestock subsector was 97.47; and fisheries subsector was 93.04.
The decline in the combined NTP index this month was caused by the decline in four subsectors, namely: horticulture by 0.65 percent, smallholder plantations by 1.60 percent, livestock by 2.24 percent, and fisheries by 0.43 percent. While food crops rose by 1.22 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of D.I. Yogyakarta in September 2022 was recorded at 99.15, an increase of 0.48 percent compared to the previous month of 98.67.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for rural areas in D.I. Yogyakarta in September 2022 generally reached 117.75, an inflation of 2.09 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 115.34.
Of the 34 provinces in September 2022, 19 provinces experienced an increase, and 15 provinces experienced a decrease. The highest increase in NTP occurred in Sulawesi Barat by 6.20 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in South Sumatra by 6.24 percent.
