Abstract

The NTP of D.I. Yogyakarta in February 2022 reached 99.33, an index increase of 0.13 percent compared to the previous month of 99.20. The NTP of food crops subsector was 97.71; horticulture subsector 115.74; smallholder plantation crops subsector 120.41; livestock subsector 91.70; and fisheries subsector 93.18.
The increase in the combined NTP index this month was due to the increase in three subsectors, namely: food crops 0.63 percent, horticulture 3.52 percent, and smallholder plantation crops 1.82 percent. While two subsectors experienced a decrease, namely: livestock 3.19 percent, and fisheries by 0.09 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of D.I. Yogyakarta in February 2022 was recorded at 99.13, a decrease of 0.23 percent compared to the previous month of 99.36.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for rural areas in D.I. Yogyakarta in February 2022 generally reached 110.63, experiencing deflation of 0.13 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 110.78.
Of the 34 provinces in February 2022, 22 provinces experienced an increase, 12 other provinces experienced a decrease. The highest increase in NTP occurred in Riau by 2.50 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in North Sumatra by 0.72 percent.
