Grain Producer Price Development May 2022

Abstract

The producer price of grain at the farm level in D.I. Yogyakarta in May 2022 amounted to Rp. 4,566.00, up 3.92 percent compared to the previous month of Rp. 4,393.88. At the milling level, it also increased by 3.85 percent, from Rp. 4,464.29 to Rp. 4,636.00 per kg in May 2022.
The highest grain price at the farm level for GKG quality grain is Rp. 5,200 per kg with the Inpari variety in Bantul Regency, while GKP quality grain is Rp. 5,500 per kg with the Ciherang variety in Kulon Progo Regency. On the other hand, the lowest grain price at the farmer level was IDR 3,700 per kg for GKP quality grain with IR64 and Inpari varieties in Lendah Sub-district, Kulon Progo Regency.
Grain by variety produced and sold by farmers in May 2022, the IR64 variety was 44.00 percent, Ciherang was 34.00 percent, Inpari was 12.00 percent, and other varieties were 10.00 percent.
In May 2022, the price of grain below the HPP was 77.78 percent for both GKG and GKP quality grain.
