Grain Producer Price Development August 2022

Abstract

The producer price of grain at the farm level in D.I. Yogyakarta in August 2022 amounted to Rp. 4,720.00, an increase of 9.26 percent compared to the previous month of Rp. 4,320.00. At the milling level, it also increased by 9.16 percent, from Rp. 4,390.83 to Rp. 4,793.08 per kg in August 2022.
The highest grain price at the farm level for GKG quality grain is Rp. 6,000 per kg with the Mentik Wangi variety, found in Sleman Regency. Meanwhile, the price of GKP quality grain is IDR 5,400 per kg with the IR64 variety in Bantul district. In contrast, the lowest grain price at the farmer level is Rp. 3,900 per kg for GKP quality grain with the Ciherang variety, which occurs in Sentolo District, Kulon Progo Regency.
Grain by variety produced and sold by farmers in August 2022, the Ciherang variety accounted for 44.61 percent, IR 64 for 35.38 percent, Inpari for 7.69 percent, Mekongga for 4.62 percent, Mentik Wangi and Situ Bagendit for 3.08 percent each, and the Sintanur variety for 1.54 percent.
In August 2022 the price of grain below the HPP was 58.46 percent in GKG and GKP quality grain.
