Harvested Area and Rice Production in D.I. Yogyakarta 2022 (Provisional Figures)

Abstract

In 2022, the potential rice harvest area is 112.15 thousand hectares with a production of around 580.68 thousand tons of GKG.
If converted into rice, the potential rice production in 2022 is 329.84 thousand tons.
The potential rice harvest area in 2022 amounted to 112.15 thousand hectares, an increase of 4.6 thousand hectares or 4.32 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2021 which amounted to 107.5 thousand hectares.
Potential rice production in 2022 is 580.69 thousand tons of MDG, an increase of 24.2 thousand tons of MDG or 4.34 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which was around 556.53 thousand tons of MDG.
Potential rice production in 2022 for food for the population is around 329.84 thousand tons, an increase of 13.7 thousand tons or 4.34 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which was 316.12 tons.
