Abstract

In 2023, the rice harvest area reached around 105.69 thousand hectares with rice production of 534.11 thousand tons of milled dry grain (MDG).
If converted into rice for food consumption by the population, the rice production in 2023 reached 303.39 thousand tons.
The rice harvest area in 2023 reached around 105.69 thousand hectares, a decrease of 5.23 thousand hectares or 4.72 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2022 which amounted to 110.93 thousand hectares.
Rice production in 2023 is 534.11 thousand tons of MDG, a decrease of 27.59 thousand tons or 4.91 percent compared to rice production in 2022 which amounted to 561.70 thousand tons of MDG.
Rice production in 2023 for food consumption of the population reached 303.39 thousand tons, a decrease of 15.67 thousand tons or 4.91 percent compared to rice production in 2022 which amounted to 319.06 thousand tons.
