Development of Grain Producer Prices January 2023

Abstract

The producer price of grain at the farmer level in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in January 2023 was IDR 5,581.82, an increase of 2.71 percent compared to the previous month of IDR 5,434.62. At the milling level it also increased by 2.68 percent, namely from IDR 5,502.56 to IDR 5,650.00 per kg in January 2023.
The highest grain price at the farmer level is for GKG quality grain worth IDR 6,500 per kg with the Inpari, Ciherang, IR-64 and Situ Bagendit varieties in Sleman Regency. Meanwhile, GKP quality grain worth IDR 5,400 per kg with the Mekongga variety is also available in Sleman Regency. The lowest grain price at the farmer level is IDR 4,500 per kg for GKP quality grain and non-quality grain with the IR-64 variety in Kulon Progo Regency.
Grain based on varieties produced and sold by farmers in January 2023, Ciherang variety at 36.36 percent, IR-64 at 29.09 percent, Inpari at 18.18 percent, Situ Bagendit at 9.09 percent, Mekongga at 5.45 percent, and Cianjur at 1.82.
In January 2023, from 55 observations in 3 districts, namely Kulon Progo, Bantul and Sleman Districts, there were no grain prices below the HPP.
