Abstract

The NTP of Yogyakarta Special Region in January 2023 reached 101.42, an index increase of 1.41 percent compared to the previous month of 100.00. The NTP of food crops subsector was 100.20; horticulture subsector 124.83; smallholder plantation crops subsector 98.95; livestock subsector 97.17; and fisheries subsector 92.57.

The increase in the combined NTP index this month was due to the increase in three subsectors, namely: food crops by 3.20 percent, horticulture by 3.51 percent, and fisheries by 0.09 percent. While two subsectors fell, namely: smallholder plantations by 2.22 percent, and livestock by 2.63 percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in January 2023 was recorded at 102.69, up 1.00 percent compared to the previous month of 101.67.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for rural areas in Yogyakarta Special Region in January 2023 generally reached 119.01, experiencing deflation of 0.33 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 119.41.

Of the 34 provinces in January 2023, 20 provinces experienced an increase, and 14 provinces experienced a decrease. The highest increase in NTP occurred in NTB by 2.27 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in West Kalimantan by 2.11 percent.
