Abstract

The NTP of D.I. Yogyakarta in January 2022 reached 99.20, an index increase of 1.15 percent compared to the previous month of 98.07. The NTP of food crops subsector was 97.10; horticulture subsector 111.81; smallholder plantation crops subsector 118.26; livestock subsector 94.72; and fisheries subsector 93.26.

The increase in the combined NTP index this month was due to the increase in four subsectors, namely: food crops 3.27 percent, smallholder plantation crops 0.72 percent, livestock 0.77 percent, and fisheries by 0.47 percent. While the horticulture subsector decreased by 8.41 percent percent. The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of D.I. Yogyakarta in January 2022 was recorded at 99.36, an increase of 0.43 percent compared to the previous month of 98.93.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for rural areas in D.I. Yogyakarta in January 2022 generally reached 110.78, experiencing deflation of 0.27 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 111.08.

Of the 34 provinces in January 2022, 20 provinces experienced an increase, 13 provinces experienced a decrease, and 1 province experienced no change. The highest increase in NTP occurred in NAD by 1.74 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in West Sulawesi by 1.93 percent.
